image1Greetings. As we begin the 2016-2017 basketball season, we are delighted that you have expressed an interest in becoming a part of our organization.

This year, the Douglasville Lady Tigers will be celebrating thirteen years of unprecedented success.  The success of our organization is not based upon our win/lost record, but upon how many of our players obtain scholarships and compete at the collegiate level.

Our mission is to build the character of each individual player to optimize both personal and team potential.  Our goal is to mentor and prepare each student athlete to utilize her academics and talent to achieve scholarships as a means to furthering her education.  To achieve this goal, we encourage the young athletes to work hard in the classroom, to have respect for themselves, their peers, and their community and instill a code of ethics built on honesty, responsibility and teamwork.  We encourage players to make sound decisions utilizing the team sport of basketball as a channel to teach life-changing skills.

What separates the Douglasville Lady Tigers from other organizations is our focus on the total student athlete.  The commitment to both athletics and academics affords every player the opportunity to obtain a full scholarship to college.

Competition at this level demands skill, dedication, and commitment, from both the player and their parents.  My commitment is to ensure that every player in the program receives a full college scholarship.

Respectfully yours,
